(More customer reviews)Our grandson was keen on having a pogo stick and after researching them, my husband decided this was the best one and would stand up to lots of use. It is certainly made well and will stand up to lots of use and abuse, but our five and a half-year-old grandson cannot seem to get the hang of how the thing works. We bought the correct size for his age and weight, but it seems too heavy and bulky for him to use and now he has lost interest. I think we ought to send it back and get a refund and find something more traditional for him.

The theory is great, but in reality, you can barely get off the ground with them. The plastic piece on the front keeps slipping off after a few jumps, and so you are constantly sliding it back. The sub price was great, so I guess it's an ok deal, but had I paid full price, I would have been disappointed.

(More customer reviews)To the reviewer that said their feet hit the tire... I had that same problem at first and it took me less than half a second to realize I had the forks pointing the wrong way. They come like that in the box to make it fit. Loosen the handlebar and rotate the forks to point FORWARD and it works great. The brakes are a bit tedious to assemble over the wheels, which were a tad warped. with a little work, its not that hard to "unwarp" a bike rim. The seat is not good, its like sitting on a contoured brick, so we replaced it after the first ride. So why did I give it 5 stars you might ask? I expected this bike to be this bad. It was cheap! It IS easier to go to the big blue store and buy one already put together though, but this way I didn't have to drive anywhere.

(More customer reviews)My wife had to have this bike, it was very inexpensive but looked great. When it was delivered which took about 5 days, it was very easy to put together. Some of the cons are that the fenders and chain guard are very flimsy and the rear tire was flat from the start so I just replaced the tube. Overall its agood deal for the money but I only expect to get 3-5 years of use. You do get what yopu pay for?

Huffy Boys Pro Thunder 20 - Inch Bike Review

(More customer reviews)The photo doesn't show it, but the handle bars are spread really wide, which forces your kid to have his arms up and hands spread apart in a not-natural way. This makes it really hard to control the bike. Bad design. I'm going to see if I can buy a normal pair of handle bars because I've had the bike too long to return it. Wish I never bought it.

(More customer reviews)Although not as light or well built as a Dahon (Broadwalk model), I find this bike to be a decent alternative. Fenders are made of plastic, luggage rack is convienent, nicely supplied nylon protective bag for the bike in the folded position. Front and rear hand brakes, (no coaster brakes). What I didn't like about the bike is that the crank arm is made of plastic. Although thick, it's just chromed plastic. About $40-60 less than the Dahon Broadwalk.

(More customer reviews)My grandson loves this digger - has it in a big pea-gravel patch, and took it to the beach last week. It was fairly easy for the two of us to put together - at 4, he was able to interpret the pictoral instructions and find various parts.
The flaws: There is one bolt on the arm that is impossible to finger-tighten, and it took some asking around to borrow an adjustable wrench small enough to use. And the wheelbase could be a little broader. My grandson has to brace with his feet when the arm is extended.
Overall, the quality is good. Some of the plastic parts seem perhaps a little lacking in heft, but it's probably good for a couple of years of play.

When my boyfriend went to assemble the bike the brakes were completely misaligned on the front and back. It took a while and a lot of tedious adjustments to get the brakes on correctly. Also, the manual that came with the bike was the wrong manual. Handle bars were also very difficult to assemble. A lot of hassle if you plan to assemble it yourself and have only some knowledge of bike assembly.

If I make it tight enough to stay on top of her head, I can't buckle it under her chin without it hurting. And if I loosen the buckle, it tilts towards the back. I think it might be because there is so much styrofoam padding that the straps don't come close enough to her head. I will be looking for a new helmet because I don't feel this one is safe.

(More customer reviews)I bought this wooden bike for a preschooler. In less than a year of use I have had to replace the bolts on the steering/front wheel assembly three times. We used a similar wooden running bike made in Germany to teach a whole neighborhood of children (more than 6 preschoolers in a single month) to ride a two wheeler and never had to repair a single piece. This bike has needed a special air pump because the intake gauge is so close to the spokes. Our other pump would not fit. We bought a box of the hex-metric bolts at Home Depot and needed everyone of them to replace ones that have been loss in use. The blue knob on the handle broke off after repeated dropping on the sidewalk, when our little guy jumped off the bike to chase another thought. The seat is difficult to move up and down, requiring two hex drivers and disassembly of two bolts. This makes it difficult to share with different height children. I would pay more for a lower maintenance running bike with an easy seat adjustment, if I had it to do all over again.

Huffy Women's Rival Bike, Gray, 26-Inch Review

It does the job of taking you for short travel time but you may need a new seat for longer travels since the Huffy seat it comes with is like sitting on a metal beam; it is unforgivably hard and heats up a lot; my inner thighs and buttocks were in agony after riding for just an hour.
The color on the bike is much darker than the picture; it looks pinkish but its more a maroon or dark magenta.
She is not too heavy; manageable for me; I'm 5' 6" and I can carry it for short stints.
The bike is tops but Amazon did a very bad job of packaging it. The box ripped open during shipment causing a hole in the box. I was worried components would be missing but so far it does not appear to be so; lucky I guess. The box is a Huffy box however, not an Amazon box w. that smile so this shipment issue may be a size thing since this box is quite big (about 4x3x1).

(More customer reviews)I bought this (single, without bearings) wheel for $17.44. I broke my previous wheel and removed the old bearing, which fit well. I received the wheel a day earlier then estimated, and within 15 minutes of downhill scootering, I had chunks of the wheel removed, and the wheel's consistency turned to that of Styrofoam. I do not recommend this wheel.
