This scooter looks great and it is very fast!
It even has a alarm on it! The lights work great, the turn signal, brake lights and head light.
The basket is just the right size.
The best part of the scooter is the big deluxe seat, it tilts back and moves forward and back. The arm rest fold up so I can get on the scooter very easily.
The silver color is very rich looking and I am very happy with my scooter.

Pedal Powered Scooter 180lb max Review

(More customer reviews)My wife and I got one of these each. She now has a bloody knee. It takes a lot of effort and is more or less unpleasant to keep these things balanced. If the street you are going down is crowned, as ours are, then with every pump of the pedals one of the back wheels will lift off the ground, tending to throw you off. The handlebar column wobbles all over the place, even when you tighten it according to the directions.
When you get the thing going, you can go perhaps 10 mph. It is OK, but like a stepper machine, a lot of work.
It is not fun. Oh, and wear a helmet and knee and elbow pads. These things are hard to control and seem flimsy to me. I don't get the feeling that it will last long. Basically, I didn't like it.

Sunlite Bicycle Tube 12 1/2 x 2 1/4 SCHRADER Valve Review

(More customer reviews)I put three of these into jogging stroller wheels and the next morning one was flat. Pulled the tube out and inflated, held under water, and the valve was leaking. Went and bought a valve stem tool at the hardware store, removed, cleaned and reinstalled the valve in the stem and had no more problems. Never had that happen before but I suppose it might not be that uncommon with mass-produced products. Otherwise, they are tubes...plain and simple. I'd have given 5 stars if I didn't have the above issue, so who knows.

Disney Princess Horn Review

(More customer reviews)There was another review in here about this problem. I took the horn out and squeezed it twice to the irritation of everyone and then the reed came out. It is loud and will make people get out of the way for sure. You can fix the loudness with a bit of tape across the holes - adjust / cut to your liking - but then, why have a horn? I took the horn apart and had to shake the horn to get the clear plastic reed and reed holder thing out. Make sure you do this over a well lit surface and not too far from the ground otherwise you might lose the reed. I replaced the reed and reed holder using some needle-nose pliers (be GENTLE!!!! Best to put the reed on top of the reed holder and push it in a bit with your hand then use the pliers). I used some paperboard (a small piece that won't interfere with the reed - maybe from the packaging) and put it under the reed holder to push it up and keep it from flying out again.
The "charms" are held onto the ribbon with "Post-It Note" glue almost, so there was another thing to fix before the kid could use it (wrapped tape around the ribbon). Also, the mount will take the paint off the bike but hold very well.
I do not have another horn to compare this to, and my kid loves this horn as cheaply made as it is so I am giving it 3 stars - it does work. If she did not like it, or was not repairable it would get 1. I mean all in all, I pretty much rebuilt the horn from parts, so unless you are into that I probably would buy it from a department store in case you have to return it.

The only problem is that they don't stay in place on the sides, which makes it difficult to remove my golf shoes because the case has sort of collapsed on my shoes. Other than that, I love it. I'm always prepeared for my round, and never leave anything I need at the house, because it's all in my new Samsonite trunk organizer!

(More customer reviews)This is kinda cool for the kid whose working on skateboard and bike tricks, but it's pretty small and requires bolting down to something much more immovable so it doesn't scoot away when the bike/board hits it.
We can't bolt it down to any concrete around here so going to look for a large, used piece of plywood and see if that works.
It's neat but consider how you'll make it immovable before buying.

(More customer reviews)Although the picture shows a street bike being loaded on this carrier the instructions say "Not recommended for most street bikes" Would have been nice to know that before I ordered it.
Anti wobble device, will not mount correctly on my receiver (Toyota). It tips as I tighten the center bolt then comes off when I tighten the other two bolts. I made a steel plate that fits inside the wobble device that allowed me to get it tight. However, it came off after less then 45 miles.
Picked up my new Honda 230M using this carrier. Used the provided strap to drive (very slowly) to the nearest Walmart and buy some other straps. The ones that came with the carrier are not to be trusted. Instructions say "Use straps at your own risk"
No problem with assembly. Instructions are very,very faded. I can't see the wobble device orientation in the picture. But the narrative describes how it is supposed to go on.
I have a small bag of sheet metal screws and washers left over. I have no idea what they are for. They are not shown in the parts list.
Instructions say the ramp stores on ether side - not true. There are threaded holes on one side only.
My carrier arrived damaged. The box looks like someone ran a forklift through one side.

(More customer reviews)I bought the youth pro pad set (for ages 8 to 14) to accompany a ripstick my 10 year old son received for Christmas. Overall, the pads are great. They are sturdy and will protect your child when or if they fall.
However, my son is skinny, therefore, he swims in these pads. The elbow pads, if worn as elbow pads, cover his whole arm and they look extremely huge on his small body. Therefore, the elbow pads fit better as knee pads. The knee pads will also work for his knees, so I guess he got two sets of knee pads for Christmas.
I gave the pad set three stars because I feel they could have been more specific in the description of the product, however, they are very protective of my sons knees.

(More customer reviews)I researched available balance bikes and decided that the Mini Glider is the best for my son. He loves it and couldn't be happier. (He has the blue one, but the color doesn't make a difference.) Here's what sets the Mini Glider apart from the other choices:
- Super lightweight. Shipping weight is 6 pounds. Compare to the 14 pound Kettler Sprint. The lighter, the easier for a young child to manipulate. Watch my son mount, turn around, dismount, and even lift his Mini Glider with ease.
- Foot pegs for ease of riding and transition to a pedal bike. Most brands have no foot rest for training foot position. The Glider Rider Bike has a 10-inch footplate, but my son's shoes are already 9 inches long. His big feet fit on the Mini Glider's foot pegs with no trouble.
- Hand brake. Some others leave this out, saying that the child shouldn't go faster than his feet can stop him. My son figured out how to use the brake on his own. It is helpful to him when stopping at the bottom of a hill. At the end of the video, just before the last notes of the music, you can hear the "Shhh" of the brake as he brings the glider to a safe stop.
- Solid, no-pump tires. With a vehicle this lightweight, you don't need the hassle of airing up tiny tires. These tires are sturdy and give plenty of traction.
- Seat height easily adjusts with the turn of one bolt.
- Minimal assembly required. Simply insert the handle bars, tighten with the included tool, adjust the seat, and go.
- Excellent customer service from the manufacturer. I had a question about adjusting the brake, and when I called the # in the instruction manual I spoke to a real person immediately.
My son is a tall (44-inch) 4 1/2 year old. Not particularly athletic or graceful, it took him until the age of 4 to learn to pedal a tricycle. When he became interested in bicycles, I got him the Mini Glider. At first, he straddled the seat and waddled with the glider. He soon progressed to walking, running, one-foot-pumping, and coasting with his feet on the foot pegs. The video shows his amazing progress from his second day of riding the glider through 2 1/2 weeks of learning. He loves showing off his skills to everyone, and he wants to go riding every day.
Edit: The new model now offered for sale has a quick-release seat clamp. No tool is needed to adjust the seat. They have also made the handlebars adjustable, for an even more customizable fit. Excellent!

(More customer reviews)We got this to help our reluctant son prepare to ditch the training wheels. We made a deal that he would try riding with the balance buddy for one week, and if he didn't feel more confident, we would reinstall his training wheels. Much to our surprise, after two, 15-minute sessions on consecutive days, he was riding completely independently. We loved seeing our son's confidence level soar to the point that, after 3 sessions, he demanded we remove the balance buddy. Therefore, despite the fact that the balance buddy is a well made, sturdy backsaver, we got very little use out of it.
Instead of abandoning it in the storage shed, we decided to attach it to our 3 1/2 year old daughter's bike, assuming that it would remain there for quite some time. We expected it to take much longer, but after about 8 sessions, she is riding on her own with only an occasional need for assistance. I feel that the Balance Buddy is infinately better than training wheels in helping children learn to balance, as it allows them to sense when they are leaning and self-correct. I highly recommend this for any child who is ready to kick the training wheel habit!!

Mongoose Rubberized Hardshell Bicycle Helmet (Youth) Review

(More customer reviews)I bought this helmet for my 7 year old stepson as part of his birthday present along with a new Mongoose bike. We've used it for 3 months.
He loves the helmet (and the bike!). It fits his head properly and is simple to adjust. I can't say it's a sharp looker...it's a flat black color which I don't think is represented well in the photos. I thought it was going to be a dark olive drab color. Not a big deal. He likes it and that's what matters!
The helmet has held up to being thrown on cement, rolled in the grass, and used to smash acorns and shows no noticeable damage or mars. A good sign in a bike helmet for your child!
