If your interested in paying a ridiculous shipping amount for these generic scooter grips, then I guess there're okay. They are about a 1/2 inch shorter then the original Razor Scooter grips. They were easy to install and because my daughter has small hands the shorter length did not matter.

(More customer reviews)I ordered two of these scooters to give as gifts. Thank goodness that I took them out of the box to inspect them prior to gifting them - there is a giant warning sticker on the bottom of the actual scooter that says that the product contains LEAD and will create LEAD dust!
Lead exposure can cause long-term, irreversible brain damage in children. Please do not buy this product for a child of any age.
I have returned this product to Amazon and asked them to update the listing to contain a warning.

She immediately loved this ride-on. She has enjoyed it for the last 2 years. She is currently 38 mo., 30 lbs., 38.5 inches tall. She still rides the bike with ease and enjoys it in the house. She pedals her Kettrike outside just fine and has done so for at least 8 months. THIS is a SUPER durable, cute, functional, fun, long-lasting ride-on with great value for the money. It turns with ease and rolls well over area rugs. We have found it goes fastest on hard floors, but is ok on carpet as well. FUN, FUN ride-on!

(More customer reviews)Good quality rubber and fiber. Strong belt. Takes the heat. Only time and mileage will tell me how good it truly is. Gates has excellent quality control even if they make their belts in China. However, it is much better than the generic Chinese belt I bought on Ebay new and only got a few miles out of it before it literally decomposed into dust and fiber leaving me with a mess to clean up. Interestingly, that belt didn't even overheat. It just fell apart. I recommend Gates belts. If you are looking a step up get it with kevlar.

Returned it and it took them along time but they sent me another faulty charger. Sent that back and asked for a full refund and all my shipping costs. They refused
and charged me a restocking fee, claiming nothing is wrong with it and that my batteries are to blame. Knowing my batteries are brand new I put in a complaint with Yahoo stores, Federal Trade Commission and Better Business Bureaus. I even went are far as have my new batteries checked out and have a statement that they are fine. Monster Scooter Parts
denied everything, still claiming the charger was and is good.
I truly feel this company sells faulty products to profit on the restocking fees! I told Better Business Bureaus to just drop the case against them because when I sell the electric scooter that this charger was to be sold with I will get back the $75.00 that Monster Scooter Parts stole from me. Also told Better Business Bureaus that I will be telling
everyone I can about my shopping experience with this company.

(More customer reviews)These wheels were exactly what I was looking for. We have 2 older Razor scooters where the bearings were making noise, and had one light-up wheel. The light-up wheel was the first I had ever seen, and ended up being both entertaining to my 3 year old, but also helpful as we occasionally ride at night on our sidewalks or while camping- helps the scooters be noticeable from dusk to dark. Since our wheels and bearings were getting old, and I was having a problem finding any wheels, I decided to replace all of them with light-up ones. The lights energize when the wheels turn, and have no batteries or parts to replace. These wheels are the correct size for the standard/traditional Razor scooter, and are very easy to replace- I even had my 3 year old help. (Actually, I didn't have much choice unless he was sleeping.) I was also surprised by how much better the ride was with these new wheels.
Things I learned in the process of purchasing these wheels: be clear about whether the packages have 1 or 2 wheels (this has 2), whether the wheels include bearings (these do), and be sure about the size (these are 100 mm, which fits Razor A and other scooters).

It assembles easily in a few minutes. He loves it and it is easy to use. It moves him along at a good speed, but not too fast. The motor has plenty of torque and it holds a good charge, lasting about 40 minutes or so. The Amazon price is a bargain, I could not find it anywhere else for less. I recomend this for anyone with "tweens."

Overall the kids would give it 5 stars for sheer fun, and I love that it gets them active outside and they don't complain about taking walks with us. I did take off a star for poor customer service (see below) and not being able to fold, or at least easily remove the handle bar for travel.
We debated mini or maxi (daughter is VERY short for 5), due to its adjustability the Maxi was the right choice. In lowest position its handle height is the same as the mini. WE purchased directly from the manufacturer website. When one of the handlebar covers broke (circular, round rubber ball piece on the end cracked and eventually fell off completely), they (kickboard USA) did not respond to our request for a replacement, despite the defect occurring the day after we received the scooter! So we were disappointed with the customer service, particularly given the price of the scooter.
Having said that, my daughter adores the scooter! She simply could not balance a razor, no matter how hard she tried. She picked up on the steering very quickly, less than a day. Many of my neighbors ask me where I got it, their little ones enjoy it too! It provides a fast and smooth ride. I had reservations when I saw the plastic board, and plastic parts, but it seems better made than my son's razor which lasted less than a year. We've had this for 6 months and aside from the handlbar-cover problem, it's going strong. Also, my son (8) prefers it to his old razor. They argue over it so much we are going to get a second one for him, this time we'll get it from Amazon. It has been indispensible for trips to NYC because the kids don't complain about walking long distances.
Note - it does NOT fold, a feature that would be very helpful. Although it arrived in two pieces, now that we have attached the T-bar handle to the board we have been unable to take it off again, making trips on the subway a little more difficult. It is very light, a huge plus. It's nice they've expanded the color options, when we purchased it was either black or purple. The purple appears exactly as on my web browser.
