We were setting up my daughters new bike for Christmas and these things kept falling off and one just plain broke before we got the bike under the tree. Thank goodness we threw them away before my 5 year old saw. Not worth the frustration at any price.

Sea-Doo Seascooter Explorer Review

Sea-Doo Seascooter Explorer
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I read one review on this scooter that was very negative and I think it does not reflect properly on this scooter. First of all, let me go over the negatives. First and foremost is that trying to get a service and repair manual for any sea scooter is near impossible and the Sea Doo explorer is no exception. I contacted Sea Doo, NFM, and other distributors of Sea Doo clones (all of which are manufactured in China) including the distributor who sold me my Explorer, without any luck in obtaining a repair manual. So, if your scooter breaks down you either have to spend the bucks to ship it to have it fixed if it is under warrantee or send it to a sea scooter repair shop if you can locate one. Second negative is the digital battery is a very expensive item to replace but is suppose to give several years use.
So lets talk about the Explorer. It is light years ahead in engineering over the old style Sea Doo's and clones. It's three speed switch is awesome and power comes on immediately unlike the older Sea Doos which slowly power up. Second, changing and charging the battery is a snap and the battery life per charge is twice as long as the original Sea Doo. As to weight, yes it is larger and heavier than the original Sea Doo but once in the water its easy to maneuver and my six year old daughter had no trouble turning it while surface snorkeling.
At high speed, it is as fast as you want to go underwater as the force of water against you will tire you out quickly especially if you are using scuba gear but I found that the middle speed is about perfect for cruising and low speed just about right to keep up with the dog.
For a free diver, this scooter rocks!! It will pull you down quickly (4 ft. per second)
and will go deeper than I would comfortably go without a backup air source (spare air/pony tank) and in fact this scooter will exceed the save diving limits of recreational scuba diving with its maximum depth rating of 160 Ft.. For a free diver this translates to a round trip from the surface to 160' and back up in just a little over one minute and 20 seconds at full power.
I have taken this scooter down over 100', lingered a bit and back up to the surface while free diving but I highly do not recommend this unless you are a disciplined and trained free diver and can make it to the surface without the scooter.
If using scuba gear, this scooter is great in conserving air and getting around but it is best to ascend using your BC and fins and carry your scooter up to the surface to avoid getting bent or injuring your lungs from over expansion especially when nearing the surface after a deep dive or when surface conditions are experiencing high swells.
Another plus for this scooter is the extreme ease to adjust its buoyancy with four cylinder weights and their exterior placement holes so your scooter can either be buoyant to keep the kid at the surface, or negative to go deep.
So, far I have had zero problems with my scooter but I just might be lucky as my older Sea Doo's were always having problems. I recommend diligent servicing of this scooter as you would any of your scuba equipment and follow the service and care recommendations in the user manual.
Bottom line, considering it's price and abilities in comparison to the older generation Sea Doo scooters and the pricey high tech scooters, this scooter is highly recommended for the serious diver who does not want to compromise performance and not have to spend the big bucks to get it!

Engineered to withstand the toughest environments, the Sea-Doo Seascooter Explorer is ideal for both recreational and professional scuba divers. The dive propulsion vehicle runs at a speed of up to 3.3 miles per hour and dives as deep as 160 feet, helping you navigate your way through choppy currents while exploring both deep and shallow dive spots. Snorkelers will also get a kick out of the Explorer, which works as well on the surface as it does underwater. And thanks to the variable three-stage speed control, you can find the speed that works best for your situation--whether at play or at work.
The Explorer comes equipped with a host of safety features, including low-battery voltage protection, over-current protection, high-temperature protection, and audible water ingress alert, an auto shutoff function, and a safety lock. The scooter, which runs for up to two hours per charge, measures 23.5 by 14.6 by 12.2 inches (W x H x D) and weighs 32 pounds. It's also backed by a 180-day warranty on parts and labor.

This scooter is small enough to fly with or beach dive, yet still strong enough to tow a diver with double tanks and deco bottles.
WIth the lightweight case, you can check it under the 50 pound weight limit of many airlines, and it is super easy to handle on boats, or if you are diving from the beach.

Big Bobby Scooter Review

Just seeing the picture of the Scooter on the screen is making our son yell bike! bike! that is what he calls his Bobby. He lives on this. We take it to the park, for walks around the neighborhood & since it is narrow enough he can even ride it inside the house. One of his favorite toys yet. I like that it is sturdy & can take a beating. I also like that it is made in Germany & not in China like most kids toys. We go it for him when he was 17 months old & he is just a little bit over the average height for his age & was able to reach the ground easily with his feet.

Schwinn Jasmine Girls' Bike (16-Inch Wheels) Review

Schwinn Jasmine Girls' Bike (16-Inch Wheels)
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I chose this bike because it's made by a real bike company, Schwinn. There are lots of "pink and girly" bikes out there (in toy stores, etc.) that are made by no-name companies, or bikes branded with licensed characters (Disney, Barbie, etc.) But if you look at them closely you'll see the quality is just subpar. I am an avid biker and I build/repair my own bikes so I can tell the difference. This bike has coaster brakes and dual hand brakes (for both the front and back wheels) while most other kids bikes have only coaster brakes or maybe just a front hand brake. The hand brake levers are made of sturdy metal while most other kids bikes have plastic hand brake levers. The training wheels are mounted on strong heavy-duty steel supports and there is a special locking bracket to make sure the training wheels don't slip/twist out of position. Most other kids bikes have very cheaply made training wheels (thin weak stamped steel) and no locking safety bracket. Also, the frame design with the curved top tube lowers the stand-over height of the bike. This is great for young children learning to ride because they can comfortably straddle the bike with both their feet firmly on the ground. The bike feels a bit heavy but you know that it will last. I had another 16" Schwinn boys bike for my son a few years ago that really stood up to abuse. He has outgrown it, but it's still in great shape so we handed it down to a cousin to enjoy.

Whoever said youth is wasted on the young never got to ride a Schwinn as a kid. The Schwinn Jasmine 16-inch girls' bike is a perfect example, with a number of high-quality features for the beginning rider. The Jasmine is outfitted with a low stand-over frame with a unicrown fork, double-wide rims for stability, 3-inch Super Street white tires, and heavy-duty training wheels. As a result, your daughter can ride with confidence until she's ready to take her next steps with a bigger bike. Plus, the bike is as fashionable as it is functional, with a fun light blue color, a matching handlebar bag, and streamers on the end of the grips. Other features include a full top-wrap chain guard that keeps pants and laces free of tangles, a cushioned saddle, safety pads, a BMX-style handlebar with a two-bolt stem and alloy cap, a one-piece BMX crankset, and both a coaster brake and front and rear caliper brakes.

POWER WHEELCHAIR MOBILITY CARRIER RACK RAMP (T-NS-SCC001-WHEELCHAIRCARRIER) Review

POWER WHEELCHAIR MOBILITY CARRIER RACK RAMP (T-NS-SCC001-WHEELCHAIRCARRIER)
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
This is a good hitch hauler at a great price. Assembly was mostly easy, however there were a couple of holes that didn't quite line up properly, nothing a little grinding with the dremmel wasn't able to fix. While it is a little annoying to have to fix small manufacturing errors like that, for the price of this unit, vs the prices of every other one I'd been able to find I'm still very happy with it.
As far as function goes, my parents have used it several times and are very pleased with it. My mothers powerchair loads easily and the rack has plenty of tie down points available. It even includes pre-drilled holes for mounting your license plate to since the chair will likely obscure it.

CUDA 650 Package Review

CUDA 650 Package
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I've put roughly 350 dives on my Cuda in 2 years. What's struck me the most has been it's reliability. It's always run like a champ - never flooded, not even a drop - and been easy to maintain.
I originally switched to the Cuda because of the speed. Now, I think more about the distance it can cover. There's enough distance available that when on a warm-water vacation on a liveaboard, I will do three dives without ever opening the scooter to charge the battery. Or, when diving at Monterey in cold water, two dives loaded down with stages. It's a very comforting feeling knowing the scooter has lots of reserve range and you won't be stranded offshore.
Our Cudas have taken a huge amount of wear and tear, and don't seem to show it. A common question seems to be about the all-aluminum hull and sea water. The zinc anode on the nose has worked well, and despite all the dives our Cudas have, there is no corrosion anywhere. About the only squawk I've had is that the battery will stick in the nose unless it's well lubed with silicone grease.
After 4 scooters, I've been very happy with the Cuda, and would buy one again.

Bike USA Stabilizer Wheel Kit Review

Bike USA Stabilizer Wheel Kit
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I bought this product based on the picture as the wheels touch the ground thereby allowing for a wider base of support. As per the professional who put the wheels on for me, they can NOT touch the ground because then the large wheel can NOT get traction. True, I did not understand the physic behind it, but I did call the company prior to the purchase. The "stability" the product affords is after the fact. First you have to lean over so that the side wheel can catch you. This product may work for individual with mild peripheral vestibular disorders, but it will NOT work for those with central and or combined vestibular disorders. So... I spent a lot of money for a product that I can not use and I spent additional money to have it put on my bike. Here's the final note... the gentleman who owns the bike shop will NOT sell these to his customers, He recommends that his customers purchase a three wheeler.

Schwinn Miramar Men's Comfort Bike (26-Inch Wheels) Review

Schwinn Miramar Men's Comfort Bike (26-Inch Wheels)
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I ordered this because I'd seen another Amazon review saying the assembly was easy, and I was happy to find this is true for me too. Since there are no directions, I thought I'd do my part by giving other buyers a couple of tips. You will need a couple of hex wrenches -- I already owned one of those little Craftsman sets with all the sizes attached to the plastic grip handle. You will need the inch measurement ones, which is the set with the orange handle. This is the only tool required. You will need a pair of household scissors, too, and an air pump for the tires.
The bike will arrive with the handlebars detached and folded over by the cables and strapped to the bike frame with a plastic fastener strip. The front wheel and the seat post (with the seat already on) are also on the side of the frame. Cut the fastener strips off. To put the front wheel on, find the axle in the little cardboard box, put it through the wheel after uncrewing the axle cap so you can put it through the wheel. Now just put the axle through the front fork and flip the end lever on the axle to hold the front wheel on.
Put the seat post in, and then turn the lever on the band which adjusts the seat until you have the height and direction of the seat where you want it, and lock down the lever.
To put the handlebars on, first take the protective black cap off the end of the handlebar post. You do need to hold the handlebars just the right way because the cables are already attached, which is good in the long term. It took me about three minutes of trying several positions until I figured out how to slip the handlebar post in, but eventually the light bulb came on over my head and it was simple. Once they were in, it was a snap to put the handlebars where I wanted them. I took the protective little black cap off the adjustment nut at the top of the stem, and used the Craftsman allen wrench. Turning the nut makes the bottom of the handlebar stem 9down in the bike frame) expand and this holds the handlebars in position. After adjustment, put the protector cap back over the nut to keep the rain and dirt off the nut.
Now pump up both tires, and you are almost done. Now you just have to fasten the front brake cable. Use a smaller allen wrench from the Craftsman set to slightly loosen the nut which holds the cable, and thread the cable through the little holder bar on the left, and then put the cable back where it originally was, and tighten it. You can look at the back brakes to see how it goes.
The pedals are in the cardboard box with the axle for the front wheel, and they are labeled L and R so just match them to the L and R stickers on the crank arms, and screw in the pedals. You are done!
The whole thing did take me an hour, but that's because I had to figure it out. Now that you have the steps, you can do it all in half and hour, easy. Happy riding!

Sea-Doo SD6545 VS Supercharged Sea Scooter Review

Sea-Doo SD6545 VS Supercharged Sea Scooter
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I am an avid Diver and can be found on most weekends underwater somewhere in Northern California or the Channel Islands. I LOVE my SeaDoo VS Supercharged Scooter! Highly recommended for all levels of divers, from beginners to advanced. It is rated for 100', but I know that it can handle 130'. I regularly use it for fun diving and while teaching. I often give other divers a tow when they are tired.
The only challenge you will have with it is maintenance if it ever needs it. I've only found one organization that repairs them - GA Services, LLC in Irvine, CA.
Make sure you check your seals before each dive, keep the prop clear of kelp and debris, and rinse it well after each dive. It will serve you very well.

This is my 3rd Cruzin' Cooler in addition to the Coolagon (trailer). I got them for me and my grandkids- we all think they're cool. Unfortunately, the axle nuts, seat back, and front fork tend to work loose and fall off quite often. Keep the tool kit handy and check every nut and bolt often. Also, the cooler I ordered from the mfg's web site came with batteries that were bad after just 3 months. I got replacements from Batteries Plus for about $10.00 more apiece than the originals and they run about 30% longer than the other good ones I have. Everybody we see with them are fascinated...it's sort of like carrying a newborn with you- they really are fun.
