Skyway Tuff Wheel Mag Front Wheel 3/8 Nutted 16 x 1.75 Black Review

Skyway Tuff Wheel Mag Front Wheel 3/8 Nutted 16 x 1.75 Black
Average Reviews:

The original Skyway Tuff Wheel (with updated bearings). After I cracked my kid's tuffwheel by running it over, the custom vintage BMX bike his uncle pieced together for him was incomplete. I searched high and low for a replacement rim, and found not only that you had the exact product but also at a great price. In order to fit the rim in the forks, I did have to shave the outer nuts that lock the inner nuts outside the bearings. The older cone-style bearings used to have the thinner nut for a slimmer profile. I expected as much from the product photo, so no surprises there. Thanks for a great, hard-to-find product. My kid is back in action.

OnGuard 5018HD Beast Chain Bicycle Lock (160cm x 11mm) Review

OnGuard 5018HD Beast Chain Bicycle Lock (160cm x 11mm)
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I live in a city where scooters are a hot commodity and if you want to keep yours, you need a good lock. This lock may be heavy, but it is exactly the right size and the right security for my scooter - not too much slack, not too short. When locking in the yard, it will loop through the front tire and around the frame. When locking on the street, it will go around a light post and the frame if you park right next the post. It is heavy and I feel sorry for you NYC cyclists who have to carry it on your back, but I doubt you will loose your bike with this thing. It was a great purchase and the perfect accessory for a scooter.

Timber Rattler Black Straight Shaving Razor Review

Timber Rattler Black Straight Shaving Razor
Average Reviews:

Man, what can I say. Your better off buying a REAL straight razor. The handle is all plastic and the blade is delivered sharp BUT I wouldnt recommend putting this on your face. For some reason, no matter how many times I sharpen this, it still wont cut hair unless you go two or three times. Should be used as a novelty or for cutting veggies. NO NO to the face unless you want to look like you got into a knife fight.

Schwinn Turbo Bike Trailer - SC775 Review

Schwinn Turbo Bike Trailer - SC775
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
We've had our Schwinn Trailer for one year. My daughter enjoys riding in it very much. There is a place for her drink, and the seat is comfortable enough that on longer rides she falls asleep.
I bought one of those seats that fits on the back of a bicycle, but it wouldn't fit. The back fender of my bicycle was too wide for the seat, and we didn't want to force it. I'm glad it didn't fit. The trailer is just great. It rolls smoothly on inflated rubber tires. I'm careful when turning that I don't hit curbs, the trailer turns very well. My daughter has room to wiggle her feet, without kicking me, she is protected from the sun, and mosquitoes with the cover and the bug/debris net. The side windows are easy to see out of. She enjoys riding in the trailer, and sometimes we even take the neighbor's granddaughter with us. They both fit comfortably (remember less than 100 lbs) It's a great purchase.

This knife is a solid knife. it is full tang and has a rubber handle. it is kinda hard to sharpen and mine got dull after a week or two. then again i use mine and abuse mine nearly everday since it was over the summer when i got this. i threw it, gutted fish with it, cut sticks for fire, and cut fruit/vegies with it. i recomend this knife for a kid/teenager or a boot knife. it is also a good utility knife, andgood for fishing/hunting/hiking

Item was solidly made, easy to assemble, and provides the control (steering and motive power)that an adult needs to supervise use by a toddler. When the child grows sufficiently, the steering post may easily be removed, allowing use as a standard child's tricycle.

PEDEGO Electric Bicycle Classic Cruiser Black/Red Review

PEDEGO Electric Bicycle Classic Cruiser Black/Red
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Pedego is sort of the Apple computer of electric bicycles. Everything is designed to work together beautifully. The components are all top notch, but the emphasis is on the user's experience -- having relaxing fun and reasonable exercise while getting somewhere.
I went shopping for an electric bike because I loved the freedom of bicycling but no longer had the strength or endurance to do the rides I wanted to do. A local bike shop salesperson told me they thought they would be selling Pedagos to retirees like me, but they are mostly selling to the commuters, especially the scientists who work at the lab up the hill and people who want to ride to work and not have to clean up. The second group is the spouses and friends of hard core bicyclists. With an electric bike they can go along for the adventure without being a dedicated athlete.
The Pedego is a throttle type bike. That means I can peddle as much as I want and add in as much electric motor as I want. I have fun mixing it up. Sometimes I just fly, peddling with the motor up. Sometimes I turn off the motor and peddle. Sometimes I just sit back and let the bike do all the work. Most of the time I peddle with a little motor blended in. The only time I absolutely have to peddle is on a killer hill. It's easy to shift gears and use the throttle to get a good blend going, all using your right hand. The Pedego has one of the strongest motors on the market (500W) and a strong battery. A couple days ago I did a 15 mile ride and the battery never went below fully charged.
The Pedego is a bike in the California Beach Cruiser style, which means it has wide high handlebars, a comfortable upright sitting position, and a heavier build for a smooth ride. It's for fun and transportation, from back before bicycling meant leaning forward over a minimal bike in bizarre racing clothes. The pedals are forward from the seat so you do not need to sit so high. You can easily put your feet on the ground. And you can lean back like an easy rider motorcyclist. The style says fun. I get lots of smiles, maybe because I am smiling, and a lot of questions and complements.
I compared it to a lot of bikes and test rode what I could. The Pedego had more zip and glide and was light enough for me to put it on my car rack. The Pegego follows the rules so that it is classified as a bicycle instead of a motorized vehicle, which means you can use bike paths and not need insurance etc.
Amazon is offering a good looking model at a great price. There are more colors, upgrades, videos, and pictures on the Pedego website.

Currie EZip Trailz Men's Electric Bike Review

Currie EZip Trailz Men's Electric Bike
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
After three test-rides, and having contemplated retro-fitting one of our existing bikes with a Currie electric drive, we decided to go ahead and purchase this bike. As the adage goes, "you get what you pay for" - which is certainly the case with this bike. I didn't expect top-of-the-line componentry, but I did expect better functionality with certain aspects of the build.
As I've ridden it around town, I found that the shifting is a bit clumsy - even after numerous adjustments to the derallieur. I was also aware of the total weight when I purchased it - nearly 70 lbs when one battery is installed - and have come to the conclusion that it is NOT a bike an average person can easily ride around without frequently using the electric assist; it's really a tank (even compared with my Xtracycle loaded with 50 lbs of groceries). I also was sad to discover that my Sunlite pannier could not be attached to the non-battery side of the rear rack because the hooks (on panier) are not set wide enough apart to span the battery placement gap. Another everyday annoyance is the fact that there is no quick-release lever on the front wheel making it a pain if you need to remove the wheel (flat, transport, etc.).
Maybe I can overlook most of the above, but the real headaches came when I got a flat on the rear tire. There is nothing - in Currie's documentation or on their website - that gives any indication on how to remove the rear wheel when you need to replace a tube. I searched forums and everywhere else I could, and came learn that in order to remove the rear wheel, you have to REMOVE THE ENTIRE MOTOR ASSEMBLY - which is not a simple procedure. And, since the motor/drive housing is hardwired (rather than having a plug-in connection) you have to figure out a way to support the motor while it is hanging disconnected from the wheel. This was the worst flat-repair job I have ever had to deal with - and definitely not something that could be accomplished out on the road, even if you had all of the tools you end up needing. I immediately went and replaced both tires with puncture-proof (resistant) tires - and if you are considering buying one of these bikes, I would definitely recommend you have this change made, preferably before you take delivery.
Bottom line: So far the electric assist modes have worked well during riding. It is a heavy, clumsy bike - and really meant to be ridden with the electric motor engaged most of the time, rather than without. I'm not convinced that the distance ratings are accurate. I suspect a more truthful average is 15-18 mi/per single battery. I am totally not impressed with the support or documentation offered by the manufacturer (Currie), and I see alot of room for small but significant improvements on the basic bicycle (quick releases, please!!!). Worth the $500? ... the verdict is still out for me. I think you can buy a higher quality commuter bike for a similar pricetag - it all depends how much effort you are looking to save riding an ebike.

Electric Bicycle Conversion Kit SLA Review

This application is simple and sound. It makes an excellent addition to any bike, or a great means of transport without peddling. It takes me to work eight miles away with no problem on the lead battery. Charges in the two and half ours it says it does. What I like about it is that it provides simple and reliable mechanics, and provides smooth acceleration for a 250 watt. I weigh 180 with a steel mongoose hybrid on 26x1.75 slick tires. It feels as fast or faster that fifteen miles per hour. I would not hesitate to purchase.

When going away for a weekend, or a month, and you just want the smaller bike without the hassel's of pulling the big hauler, then this hitch mounted rail is for you. I used it to carry my KLR650 and it did it very well. Over two thousand miles of use with no problems whatsoever. Just be certain that your hitch was designed for the load that you intend to carry. Delta Mega Rack Universal Rear Bike Rack Review

Delta Mega Rack Universal Rear Bike Rack
Average Reviews:

This is not a bad rack. It's light and seems to be well made. Nevertheless, it annoys me when vendors claim a "universal" ability to mount on any bike. Out of the box, no way will this work on my frame, which happens to be a Gary Fisher Mendota. To make this thing work, I need to make a trip to the hardware store to buy some aluminum straps in order to fabricate the necessary bracket extensions. Had the packaged connectors been about 4 inches longer it might have worked.

Butterfly Tensai Table Tennis Racket Review

This racket is a steal for $15.
Pros: I was very pleased with the distribution of the weight in the paddle. My serves were exceptionally accurate and I could get some strong spin on the ball. Well constructed
Cons: It was quite heavy and the wood was pretty cheap feeling. The heaviness of the racket hurt my accuracy but I will adapt to it the more I play with it.
Overall: I could not expect more for the price I paid for this and I am very pleased with it. I will want to upgrade in the next few months though.

This is a neat first trike for a girl. She liked the storage space in the rear and the adjustable seat and foldable option are helpful. Nevertheless, I was very disappointed in the "tires" which were described as rubber in the blurb.Beware! They are hard plastic! False advertising, if you ask me.
