(More customer reviews)This scooter was a pain in the neck to assemble (the instructions only had diagrams and no words). If you don't know how to wire up brakes, get help from someone who does - maybe take it to a bike shop. Other than that, it's a good scooter. My 42" tall 5 yr old rides it fine. The platform measures ~14" in length to let you know and the handlebar height is adjustable. I like the bigger wheels for dealing with the cobblestone brick and landscape rocks on the sidewalks in our area. I like the handbreak as it will be the same on a bike.
