This is NOT, your basic Internet novelty rubbish.
Mega-strong multi-layered FG shaft in a nice brushed finish, with a heavy palm full of beautifully finished steel.
You do NOT want to get hit with this.
I consider the steel as a balance off-set, rather than a striking point.
That puts MUCH more speed and precision into moving the shaft around, whether for defensive moves, or punnishment.
A swift tap on the thigh with that shaft, and your oponent is going to sit down, and cry. I assure you.
Plenty of time to walk safely away.
I seriously doubt your oponent will want to come limping after you.
If you strike with the steel pummel, you are using deadly force.
Please be aware of that. This is no joke.THINGS TO KNOW:
1) My personal opinion: This is BETTER than the version with the sword (which I own).
The sword is very limiting as a weapon, weakens the shaft, rattles audibly, and prevents shortening the stick.
2) The default length is for a very TALL person. I'm 6-1 and it's too tall for me. Had to trim it down a bit for comfort.
Don't be afraid to shorten it. If it's too tall, you will look awkward strolling (chicks hate that), and it throws you off balance.
3) I just happen to REQUIRE a walking stick. This is a very fine one. Do yourself a BIG favor, and put a REAL tip on the bottom.
The tip that's included is hard plastic for some dumb reason. You should NOT walk with that tip on there. It will get you hurt.
Bite the bullet, go to any pharmacy / drug store, and pick up a real rubber cane footie thing for like $3 bucks.
