I haven't skated in 20 years & now I have a 6 year old that wants to go skating every week, so I bought myself these skates. I researched several sites before deciding on these. Many reviews I read warned that this skate runs large. They do run long, but they are narrow. I normally wear a 7.5 Medium shoe. I ordered a 7 skate. The length was perfect, but the width was a tighter fit than I was expecting. The best part was the added padding in the sole, the ankle area and the tongue. I've had foot surgery in the past that has left both my feet very senstive. The first time I skated with my new skates I had no problems with my feet, other than the normal stiffness of a well made leather skate. The wheels look white in the picture, but they are more of a yellowish color. They still look nice & the wheels/bearings are great, much better than what you will find on cheaper skates or even at the roller rink. The wheels came tight, but once your comfortable skating again, just loosen the wheels for faster motion. The tool is included with the skates.
