(More customer reviews)After 6 months of my 5 year old son asking for a skateboard, my husband and I decided to get him one for his 6th birthday. Instead of just a skateboard, this combo set came with the helmet, elbow pads, hand/wrist pads and knee pads. He put on all of the gear and off he went. He loves it. He said on his birthday, "This is the BEST present ever!" Even my 19 year old son was very impressed at the quality of not only the skateboard, but of the helmet and pads. Skateboarding might be a little dangerous, but at least the protective gear will keep him safer. And we could NOT beat the price. Had we bought the skateboard and protective gear separately, it probably would have cost 3 or 4 times the price. I was very happy we made the purchase through Amazon.
