AMC-400 Lightweight Aluminum Motocross & Dirt Bike Carrier for 2" Hitch Receivers Review

When going away for a weekend, or a month, and you just want the smaller bike without the hassel's of pulling the big hauler, then this hitch mounted rail is for you. I used it to carry my KLR650 and it did it very well. Over two thousand miles of use with no problems whatsoever. Just be certain that your hitch was designed for the load that you intend to carry. Great product.....Lynn

I picked up this lock to go with the 5018L (7ft) OnGuard Beast chain. It's locking mechanism works well and our bikes are still in our possession, so it's done its job. It's nice that it comes with extra keys.

X-Treme Scooters XB-600 Elite Electric Bicycle Review

X-Treme Scooters XB-600 Elite Electric Bicycle
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I bought this for my 3 mile commute. This was a terrific solution, but took some effort to make it ready for the road.
The quality that went into building the scooter was less than optimal. A lot of the bolts were not tight, the pedals holes did not align with the post the pedals attach to and the gear on the rear wheel was not screwed onto the wheel. These were all items I easily corrected and I was off on my ride. It was a nice ride, the shocks actually work. Turn signals and lights work, but I keep hitting the horn button with my knee! Hehehe. The speedometer does not measure the speed, but rather calculates it and does that poorly. The only real disappointment was with the power of the engine, it took a really long time to get up to speed and this can be an issue in traffic, I can't get out of the way of vehicles especially starting up at intersections. The simple solution for me was to add a 5th battery. After investing $75 for a battery and $75 for a bigger charger, I mounting the new battery under the seat and now it has good pick-up and has a faster top speed. The range is good, I charge every 2 or 3 days and the charger stores easily in under the seat.
This is not a perfect product out of the box, but I couldn't live without it now. My new relaxation technique is a cross-town ride on Saturday afternoons on my scooter.

X-Treme Scooters XB-502 Electric Bicycle Review

I will write another review after appx 3-4 months of use. For me, however, this is a perfect. I am a 64 year old man with serious heart disease. I need regular exercise, but have to stop if I feel my heart stressing too much. The X-Treme Electric Bicycle XB-502 allows me that flexibility. I can pedal or turn on the electric drive and cruise. A perfect fit also was the low price which allowed me to buy it for cash. Also perfect is I need no drivers license, do not have to register it, or insure it. I can ride it on bicycle paths just like a regular bike, or on the street where allowed.

Peg Perego Ducati Monster Review

Peg Perego Ducati Monster

I bought this toy for my son for his sixth birthday. He loves it but for the money it costs I was a little disappointed. It is not very fast, thank goodness it came with training wheels because I don't know how a kid would be able to ride it without, it just doesn't go fast enough. He has had it for a little over a week and the stickers are already peeling off. If he didn't love it so much I would send it back. It cost too much to just be ok.

Tyco R/C Wheelie Cycle 27mhz Review

Tyco R/C Wheelie Cycle 27mhz
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I have a garage full of radio controlled (RC) vehicles that I've bought for my kid over the years (yeah, right, for my kid... :-) ). Tyco has been making inexpensive RC kits (cars and motocycles, even boats) for a long time. I didn't find that this kit is very different in terms of quality or functionality from those of years past with one significant exception: This one comes with all the required batteries (including the one for the vehicle). Typically, Tyco kits have not included the vehicle battery, and these batteries (+charger) run around $30 at retail. So this should be considered a major bonus.
So how is the motorcycle? I found that it works as advertised. It goes very fast, and both the speed control and the ability to pull "wheelies" while moving work as would be expected.
My main criticism of this particular vehicle is that it is not all that forgiving of poor driving skill. It is quite easy to spin out and have the motorcycle wind up on its side--especially outdoors where surfaces tend to be irregular. Of course, it's not hard to pick it up and start again. But here's how these entry level vehicles are almost always used by the kids who get one: Full out throttle, with the vehicle zooming away. In that scenario, this motorcycle isn't going to last more than 5 seconds before you have to run to it and right it to start up again. That gets old pretty fast.
A better choice is a standard car, with four wheels. These tend to be easier to keep upright and can often be re-righted, even after a flip, via the remote.
For an older kid, or for an experienced RC operator, I think this would be a lot of fun. But for a younger kid, my strong recommendation would be to stick to a car.

Razor Pocket Rocket Miniature Electric Bike Review

Razor Pocket Rocket Miniature Electric Bike

We bought this for our 9 year old son for christmas last year. He loves it. All the kids from the block come over and ride on it. He is big for his age and fits on fine. My husband even rides this thing. My son has had a few crashes(nothing major/not fast enough) and the razor pocket rocket held up fine. The age guide line could start at 8 or 9 because its so little. We feel this is a great toy and so far worth the money.

Little Tikes Police Cycle Sounds Rocker Review

Little Tikes Police Cycle Sounds Rocker
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
My son received this rocker from Grandma and Grandpa for Christmas when he was 15 months old. It was hands-down his favorite gift. He tried to sit on it before we even got it out of the box, and continued to sit on it while opening the remainder of his gifts (he only opened a few more, then decided that nothing was going to be as much fun as the rocker, and gave up, leaving me to open the rest of his packages). It is well balanced; my son rocks VERY hard on it, and has never tipped it over. Also, the buttons are easy for little fingers to push (babies sometimes have trouble pushing buttons on toys that are too stiff, not a problem with this toy). He thinks the lights are great, and usually pushes that button repeatedly. When he first learned what all the buttons did, every time we'd praise him for something, he'd run to the rocker, and push the button that says, "Mission accomplished, Good job!" After almost 4 months of constant use, it still looks brand new, even though my son likes to push it around the room, and crash it into things. He still rides it daily, and begs to take it to Grandma's when we go for the day (which I always allow, since she bought the thing. Let her listen to the siren all day! =]) It fits great in the backseat of the car (I'm sure it would fit in the trunk if not for the stroller, booster seat, and other junk back there), and doesn't take up too much floor space. A great buy!

This police motorcycle rocker interacts with toddlers with lights and sounds. The child turns the key to start up the "engine," and hears motorcycle sounds as they rock. The longer they rock, the more sounds they hear, including sirens and lights. As the child slows down and stops rocking, the engine noises slow down and eventually stop. Buttons let the child independently activate the sounds, play "police" messages, and light up the dashboard. Batteries included. Replace with 3 "AA" alkaline batteries (not included).
