Segway x2 Golf Review

Segway x2 Golf

While a great product, do not pay this price. Any Segway dealer can get it for you for about 1K less.

Click Here to see more reviews about: Segway x2 Golf

Play side by side with your foursome instead of splitting up into two carts with the Segway x2 Golf, your solution to effortless maneuverability on the course. The x2 Golf is equipped with deeply treated, turf-friendly tires that let you travel on the grass and off the cart path for a faster game. As a result, you can zip from the tee to the sand dunes to the green in no time. It even includes a higher ground clearance than the original Segway, helping it handle steep hills, uneven trails, and errant rocks. If you're a golfer, you'll love it. If you're not a golfer, you'll want to go along for the ride.
As with the traditional Segway, the rider controls the x2 Golf by leaning slightly in any direction. To move forward or backward, lean slightly forward or back. To turn left or right, simply move the LeanSteer frame left or right. You get the same sense of power and speed as riding in a vehicle, but you also feel safe and absolutely in control. Best of all, the x2 Golf can take you places that a car or bicycle can't, including inside many stores, office buildings, businesses, airports, and trains.
The x2 Golf is also equipped with a couple of golf-specific accessories to enhance your golfing experience. The golf bag carrier attachment, for example, secures your golf bag to the x2, yet still allows for easy dismount and club access while playing. In addition, the x2 includes a scorecard holder that keeps your scorecard, golf balls, and tees readily accessible. And as a final bonus, the x2 Golf puts you well above the greens, giving you a terrific perspective on the various breaks and dips. So do away with clunky carts and get mobile on the course with the Segway x2 Golf.

Tires: 8 inches wide

I have had several mopeds over the years.
This moped has proven to be the best one yet.
I like the style of this moped and the ride.
It is very dependable and enjoyable to ride.
This moped is very easy to operate and care for.
All I do is plug it in and check the air in the tires every couple of weeks.
This is the best moped I have owned!

Razor MX400 Dirt Rocket Electric Motocross Bike Review

Razor MX400 Dirt Rocket Electric Motocross Bike
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
You would expect the MX400 to be an improvement over the MX350 but having seen my son on both it was clear the old MX350 had a much better design.
The biggest problem with the new bike is that the front and rear suspensions have now been removed and the frame is rigid. So unless your child is only riding on the street, it's a very harsh ride to say the least. You can air down the tire to give you a little more chushion but it's a poor compromise.
The second problem is that the twist throttle is no longer variable speed. The throttle is now a twist version of a light switch. Again this provides very jerky movement of the bike and detracts from the fun a child has while using it.
My recommendation is to buy an older MX350 (if you can find one) or to move up to the MX500 until Razor get these items changed on their latest design. C'mon Razor, I know you can do better than this.

This is the best gift I could have gotten for my husband. With his recent surgeries he wasn't able to go fishing, until the Cruzin Cooler was delivered. He immediately decided he needed the "trailer" to haul the extras needed for fishin' on the bridge. Everyone there now wants to know how to get one of these. Thank you so much, made his day.

GoPed Super 46R (Black) Review

GoPed Super 46R (Black)
Average Reviews:

Very fast and high quality plenty of power for teens and adults!
Item arrived a few days after the delivery estimate window, so GoPed refunded my shipping charges.
I installed an expansion chamber, iridium spark plug, tuned the carburetor, and raised the compression.
The wheels don't come balanced which is a fail because this Go Ped is fast.. I suggest you get a strip of 1/4oz sticky weights from a tire shop and balance them yourself. You don't want to be hopping all over the road at 30+ mph.
Also check the chain tension because mine came from the factory over tightened. The throttle was not adjusted either and didn't open up all the way.
Make sure you follow the break in process and use the recommended type and amount of gas/oil mix.

Yellow City Cruiser Kickbike Review

Yellow City Cruiser Kickbike
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Did you like scooters when you were a kid? No, I mean the non-powered kind that you push with your feet. That's what the Kickbike is, an adult-sized scooter with bigger wheels. And yes, it IS pretty fun to ride, especially when you get a decent slope to go down.
It's not quite as fast as a bicycle (but still much faster than walking), and it takes a little more effort than a bike, especially going uphill. But it is fun, anyway, and naturally, it gets GREAT gas mileage. ;-)
There's no chain, gears, or pedals to worry about, so the only maintenance necessary is for the tires, wheels, and brakes. The tires on the City Cruiser are fairly thin (to reduce rolling friction), so this version really is intended for relatively smooth surfaces, and not off-roading. Nor is it well-designed for trick-riding or stunts.
The basket that comes with the City Cruiser is a little on the small side, but it is a fairly fine-mesh type of basket compared to a regular bike basket (although you could probably add a regular basket if you wanted to). Also, there's a bracket opening near the rear wheel you can use to run a chain through so you can lock it up (it's hard to tell in the pictures).
This thing is great for grown-up kids, and is sure to get people's attention.

Currie Technologies eZip Skyline Men's Electric Bicycle Review

Currie Technologies eZip Skyline Men's Electric Bicycle
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I bought the Currie EZip Skyline as a commuter bike to try and minimize my carbon footprint. I wanted a bike I'd have fun riding and that I could use to get some exercise , but not arrive at work or home completely worn out from the journey. I researched a bunch of bikes and decided on this one based on the battery type, shape, water 'resistance' and price. I received the bike last weekend, and after making my way through a slightly annoying set of assembly instructions, I can review it's performance based on my first 15 mile roundtrip commute.
- Overall performance - The bike is a lot of fun to ride and it seems pretty sturdy so far. I really liked the variable modes of travel, PAS (pedal assisted) or TAG (full scooter mode). I was able to 'zip' past quite a few different bikers on the hills, which made the overall distance seem less. In fact, with this bike, my 15 mile commute felt completely doable. There's a little bit of a whine when the electronic motor is assisting you, which may bother some. The amount of force that the electric assist produces seems well balanced to the type of bike. It's not so much that you feel like you're speeding out of control, but it's enough to get a good boost.
- Functionality - I found the controls fairly intuitive, once I figured out what mode I was in. It pays to have some practice time on the bike to figure out what's happening before you get into traffic. The gears are enough for my plans (no big long hills, mostly bike paths all the way to work). I believe that the correct handlebar placement has eluded me thus far. It's important to figure that out, as your wrists are engaged in a different way if you're using the throttle a lot. It's heavy, so when the electric assist isn't on, it's not fun going up hills, though it's fine on the flats.
- Battery Life -
I fully charged the battery the day I assembled the bike, and it stayed full for the first leg of my trip (7.5 miles) after an hour charge at work, it stayed on full all the way home too. Seems to have long life on a charge.
- Assembly - It's not completely simple to assemble as the packaging is not customized to the bike, and so there's plastic parts that are there just to support the shipping that are hard to remove. Also, there are some places where the instructions point to the wrong location for a bolt, the Wedge bolt in particular, and so that gets frustrating. I did insist on doing it myself though, cause I wanted to be able to know how it was put together if I had any problems out on the road.
- Improvements -
I think this bike would be improved by adding an indicator to the PAS / TAG toggle that lets you know visually which mode you are in. A tilting seat would facilitate easier battery removal.

I purchased my moped from electricwheelstore.com
It was delivered fully assembled, which was great because I do not like to build anything.
I ride the moped about 3 days a week. It has always started and I have not had any problems operating the moped.
I had several questions about the moped and I contacted the service department and was treated very nicely and had all of my questions answered in a timely manner.
This moped has lived up to every expectation I had. With gas prices surging it is nice to have alternative transportation.
This is a great Moped!!!!!!!!!!!!

(More customer reviews)
This is my 3rd Cruzin' Cooler in addition to the Coolagon (trailer). I got them for me and my grandkids- we all think they're cool. Unfortunately, the axle nuts, seat back, and front fork tend to work loose and fall off quite often. Keep the tool kit handy and check every nut and bolt often. Also, the cooler I ordered from the mfg's web site came with batteries that were bad after just 3 months. I got replacements from Batteries Plus for about $10.00 more apiece than the originals and they run about 30% longer than the other good ones I have. Everybody we see with them are fascinated...it's sort of like carrying a newborn with you- they really are fun.

Product broke during utterly normal use - it just shut down and stopped working on a flat, dry sidewalk three weeks into ownership. Emails and phone calls to the company to set up warranty service have gone unanswered. No phone listed on their website; found their number through some legwork, but only a machine answers, never a real person. For all I know this company doesn't even exist. BEWARE. Roth Motors or whatever should be avoided...don't make the same mistake I did. Inexcusable. Zero stars.

A little small for my 3 1/2 year old, but all he wanted for Christmas was a scooter and this was the only suitable one I could find. He loves it and that is all that matters! Plus its small enough that he can ride it in our (small) house, which means we don't have to be outside watching him all the time since he wants to ride it morning, noon and night! Also the sidecar is big enough for our 7 lb. dog to ride in!

Currie EZip Trailz Step Thru Women's Electric Bike Review

Currie EZip Trailz Step Thru Women's Electric Bike
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I bought this bike because i am getting to be a near jurassic (70 yr old) man, but wanted a "step thru" frame. At this age i just cant swing that old leg up like the young ones and dont mind the snickers about it being a lady's bike! Hey bring me my pink water bottle!! lol
So.. the shipper (UPS) did a real bang up job..and i mean bang up! The box was ripped, the frame scratched, busted some styrofoam and generally musta had a gorilla throw it around before finally leaving in on my front porch. Ezip does pack it well though and they are smart enough to include some touch up paint.
I was immediately impressed with the welds, the finish, and overall quality of the bike..amazing for the price. Assembly was not too bad, and all parts were there except one front hub nut (this maybe be lost due to the shipping?) The front brake was out of adjustment but i used the rear brake as a model. All instructions were easy to read, however like so many products these days, the lawyers must be have written the first five pages of everything because of all the WARNINGS! Wear a helmet! Dont ride at night!
Tell your mother where you are going! (ok not that one) Dont ride in sandals or barefoot!
Oh my goodness, did i buy a bicycle or a death trap?
The battery is being charged tonight and i will take it out for a spin tomorrow, and I look forward to passing those spandex bicycle "gangs" going uphill , puff puff... "come on boys!"
So far, so good and i will add a review on how it runs a little later, but for now i can recommend this Ezip machine, a heck of a deal for the money (god bless the chinese) . If we could just export our love of litigation we could eliminate our trade deficit!!
oh ya, it says i am in bangkok, thailand but i am now in the mountains of colorado..
Pike's Peak here me and lady Ezip come!! (she hasnt got a name yet).
Oh one last thing... i am 6'2" and 200 lbs, so the bike is a little small for me, but for the price i can get small.... if i like riding electric bikes (i think i will), maybe some big manly bike is next!!! but I'm keepin the water bottle!
P.S. after 3 months of riding... the bike is FANTASTIC... no problems.. no regrets ...this is my kinda relationship!! (reliable and cheap) oh, one note, if you leave the bike to go in shopping at the dollar store (my kinda place) it turns off the battery after 3 min.. so just flip the switch back on and you be zoomin in no time...
oh ..one more note.. it is very easy to switch back and forth between pedal assist and motobike zoom... and whenever you hit the brakes.. the motor cuts out.. so you wont go flying thru that busy intersection!!
good luck all

Go-Ped ESR750EX Electric Powered City Scooter (Multiple Colors) Review

Go-Ped ESR750EX Electric Powered City Scooter (Multiple Colors)
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
"Is it heavy?"
"Yes."
"Then put it down, it's expensive."
Yes, this scooter is heavy. And yeah, it's expensive. But it's worth it. I have a gas model as well, but it's far too noisy to ride at night. I can cruise up and down the street on this at 3 AM, and not bother a soul.
The front disc brake is incredibly responsive. I've already had to perform a few "emergency stops," and the brake worked just fine. I weigh 220 lbs, and this scooter doesn't seem to be straining to move or stop me, which I like.
Another reviewer mentioned that this scooter seems like something that someone would build in their backyard. I completely disagree with that statement. This has a solid frame, folding handlebars (which allow you to carry the scooter like a suitcase), a motor that will propel you to 20 mph (18 or 19 if you're my weight), mechanical disc brake that actually WORKS, and the throttle has three indicator LEDs to let you know the status of your batteries.
This is not a thrown-together garage project. This is a finely crafted (in the USA), well-finished product. Oh, and Go-Ped's customer service is absolutely top notch. If something's wrong, they'll make it right.

Click Here to see more reviews about: Go-Ped ESR750EX Electric Powered City Scooter (Multiple Colors)

Whether you're looking for a more energy-efficient way to cruise the neighborhood or you just love yourself a little scooter style, the Go-Ped ESR750EX electric scooter is an ideal choice. The 2008 version of the city scooter includes a host of improvements over earlier incarnations, including an innovative self-adjusting chain tensioner, significantly thicker and more powerful rare Earth magnets, and a higher rpm operation to improve efficiency. Add these improvements to the original design--which won the 2004 Electric Scooter of the Year award from Electric Scooter World--and you have a terrific long-range scooter for both adults and kids.
The scooter owes its powerful performance to its ESR engine, which is equipped with a robust and well-proven DC brush-type motor with an "Electro Head" finned heat sink. The motor is capable of producing more than 1 horsepower in continuous operation and reaching top speeds of more than 20 miles per hour (in Turbo mode), with thrilling levels of acceleration. The high output also helps the scooter tackle steep hills with ease--a rarity among many electric scooters. The auto-adjusting chain tensioner, meanwhile, incorporates a longer, spring-loaded slot with consistent yet gentle slack elimination to effortlessly stop chain derailments. In the process, the chain adjuster accommodates greater chain "slactitudes" commonly found with various sprocket combinations and changing chain conditions.
From a purely functional perspective, the ESR750EX offers two performance modes and an electronic controller. The rider can choose the Econo mode to go twice as far, half as fast (12 miles per hour), or select the Turbo mode to reach speeds of 20-plus miles per hour. The Turbo mode offers a range of roughly eight miles per charge, while the Econo mode checks in at roughly 12-plus miles. Once you arrive at your destination, simply plug the scooter into any 110-volt or 220-volt household power outlet and its onboard "smart charger" will take over. The ESR750EX is also equipped with a computerized, programmable variable-speed controller. With a wide variety of EPROM (Eraseable Programmable Read Only Memory) functions, the controller gives the user the freedom to do not only onboard diagnostics, but also customize performance.
Other features include an aircraft-quality Chromyl frame, a patented cantilevered Chromyl fork, pneumatic 10-inch TT tires, magnesium rims, and a Mad Dog disc braking system. And at only 59 pounds, the ESR750EX still offers the best range-to-weight ratio of any electric scooter in the world. Equipped with a folding frame for easy transport and storage, the ESR750EX measures 48 by 41 by 18 inches (W x H x D) and offers a weight capacity of 400 pounds.
