Skyway Tuff Wheel Mag Front Wheel 3/8 Nutted 16 x 1.75 Black Review

Skyway Tuff Wheel Mag Front Wheel 3/8 Nutted 16 x 1.75 Black
Average Reviews:

The original Skyway Tuff Wheel (with updated bearings). After I cracked my kid's tuffwheel by running it over, the custom vintage BMX bike his uncle pieced together for him was incomplete. I searched high and low for a replacement rim, and found not only that you had the exact product but also at a great price. In order to fit the rim in the forks, I did have to shave the outer nuts that lock the inner nuts outside the bearings. The older cone-style bearings used to have the thinner nut for a slimmer profile. I expected as much from the product photo, so no surprises there. Thanks for a great, hard-to-find product. My kid is back in action.

Huffy Rock Out AMP Bike, Black/White, 20-Inch Review

Huffy Rock Out AMP Bike, Black/White, 20-Inch
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Bought this bike for our grandson for Christmas. This is his first bike with no training wheels and is a "big boys" bike. He is five years old. After reading several other reviews on 20" bikes I was a little concerned about shipping and the condition that it wold arrive in. My experience was excellent. It arrived in perfect condition and for the most part was assembled. I had to put on the handle bars, the seat, the reflectors and the peddles. It was quick and easy. The bike is sturdy and well made, will withstand a five year old with no problem. One of my concerns was braking, this bike has the conventional pedal brakes as will as the handle-bar grip brakes----an added safety feature for small kids. Anyway, on Christmas day he got his bike and was off and riding it in no time (after some running behind him for balance assist). He is all on his own now and enjoying it a lot except for just a couple of spills.
Arrived in perfect condition.
Easy to assemble.
Sturdy construction.
Looks sharp.
Dual mode brakes.
A good price.
Hope this helps if you had any reservations.

An ideal transitional bike for boys, the Rock Out 20-inch bike from Huffy takes your music fanhood to the next level. That's because the Rock Out comes with its very own A.M.P., otherwise known as an Amplified Music Player. The A.M.P. works by connecting to your MP3 player, letting you play your favorite music out loud while you cruise down the street--no headphones required. It's a great way to have fun, attract attention, and keep yourself entertained. Plus, the bike comes with a sleek vinyl handlebar bag specially designed to hold and protect the A.M.P., MP3 player, ear buds, and other personal items. And, of course, the Huffy Rock Out excels from a traditional riding perspective as well, with such features as a steel Y-frame, a steel unicrown fork, front and rear caliper brakes, rear coaster brakes, steel rims, and a padded seat with graphics. The bike is a great choice for boys who love to ride on trails, or who aren't quite ready to upgrade to a full-size men's bike.

Roadmaster Tracker Boy's Bike (20-Inch Wheels) Review

Roadmaster Tracker Boy's Bike (20-Inch Wheels)
Average Reviews:

My son didn't get to ride this much as it was stolen from our (fenced and locked gate) yard less than a week after getting it. I guess it make someone jealous (they did not steal the other 2 bikes, which were also brand new).
But, I can tell you that my son did thoroughly enjoy his bike. It went together easily (mom put it together!) And while it was a step up in size for him, he felt it was a good bike for wheelies... your son will want to know that.
I will buy this bike again next paycheck. He liked it enough to want to have an exact replacement.

Mongoose Raid Freestyle Bike (20-Inch Wheels) Review

Mongoose Raid Freestyle Bike (20-Inch Wheels)

Unless you are mechanically handy, do not buy a bike in a box. Also, the wrong pedals were sent in this box apparently they were 1/2" instead of 3/8" threads. I found this out when I went to pay $40 to have this bike assembled. We like the bike OK, but it cost quite a bit to have assembled and the pedals were wrong.

Razor Sharp Freestly Bike (20-Inch Wheels) Review

Razor Sharp Freestly Bike (20-Inch Wheels)
Average Reviews:

I bought two of these Razor bikes for my nephews for Christmas. They had to wait until spring to ride them because of the winter weather, but really loved all the cool tricks they could do on these bikes. They were the only kids in the neighborhood to have the Razors. Well, not anymore, seems the bikes were so nice that even the local bike theives had to have them and they have already been stolen from their yard. They were really sharp looking bikes and at $99.00 each (at Xmas), and free shipping, I felt like I was getting a steal, guess I was right. Next time I buy a chain for them too.

Huffy Boys Pro Thunder 20 - Inch Bike Review

Huffy Boys Pro Thunder 20 - Inch Bike
Average Reviews:

The photo doesn't show it, but the handle bars are spread really wide, which forces your kid to have his arms up and hands spread apart in a not-natural way. This makes it really hard to control the bike. Bad design. I'm going to see if I can buy a normal pair of handle bars because I've had the bike too long to return it. Wish I never bought it.

Huffy Pop Star AMP Bike, Red/White, 20-Inch Review

Huffy Pop Star AMP Bike, Red/White, 20-Inch
Average Reviews:

This bike is so adorable once it is put together. However, we never got the handbrake attached! The instructions are confusing from the start and written in tiny font. It actually worked out though since my daughter was just learning to ride a 2 wheeler and did not need the confusion of the handbrakes - she just uses the pedal brake and it is fine! A great bike for the money! And it also comes with a little MP3 portable speaker in the bag on the handlebars! It is crappy quality but fine for an 8 year old!

Huffy So Sweet Girls Bike Review

Huffy So Sweet Girls Bike
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
It was cheap enough for my purpose, which was just to provide a bike for my daughter to learn to ride. It assembled quickly and easily. Unfortunately it is not the same quality that Huffy used to be. The tires make a weird clicking sound. It does not turn smoothly without catching a bit. Still good for my daughter to learn to balance- but then we will be buying something better.

I bought this as a gift for my 8 yr. old nephew and he absolutly loves it. I had seen a Mongoose bike for sale at Wal Mart for around $60.00, but you could instantly see the quality difference between this one and the cheaper bike. The price, $119.00 with free shipping was an excellant deal.

The Mongoose Spin carries a lifetime warranty on the frame and fork.

About Mongoose In 1974, BMX Products, Inc., later to be known as Mongoose Bicycles, launched from a humble garage. The first of its kind, the BMX bicycle was named after bicycle motocross and was designed to fit the needs of the rough-and-tumble dirt-racing pastime that took its toll on wheels and bicycles. The heavy-duty, one-piece cast-aluminum Mongoose Motomag wheel was soon born, and it was the first competition-ready BMX bicycle available. Skip Hess, while in Australia pursuing his motor sports passion, came into contact with a strange and unusual cat-size animal--the mongoose. Known for its passive nature while unprovoked, yet vicious and aggressive enough to kill a threatening Cobra twice its size, the Mongoose impressed Hess, who quickly registered the Mongoose trademark for his new bicycle racing frame.
The Expert BMX bicycle model, which is still a cornerstone of the Mongoose BMX line today, was introduced in 1980. Shortly after, Mongoose captured the first ever ABA National #1 Cruiser Title. Previously known for the 20-inch bicycle, this title signaled the re-direction of Mongoose bicycles to larger-wheeled, adult-sized models. Several years later, Mongoose continues to dominate the cruiser racing circuit with six National No. 1 Cruiser titles, leading to the introduction of adult-sized Mongoose all-terrain bicycles (ATBs).
In 1992, Mongoose pioneered the full-suspension market with the introduction of the Amplifier. This design is still the most-copied suspension design in the market. Several year later, Mongoose launched the Newman adult bicycle frame, which is proven to be 15% stronger than any other bike frame in the market. The design, while functionally sound, also raised eyebrows because of its distinctive look.
In the next few years, Mongoose increased its marketing focus to dominate the bicycle industry, and more important, extend beyond it. The Mongoose brand marketing initiative makes more than 100 million impressions. Mongoose's brand awareness increased by over 130% in 1999 and solidifies the No. 2 market share position in units and dollars. Mongoose was acquired by Pacific Cycle, LLC, and continues to grow and prosper with more than 40 models of BMX, mountain, trail, freestyle, jumping, comfort, road, and cyclocross bikes.
