(More customer reviews)This is the highest rated disc lock (according to OnGuard's own rating system). If you want to save a couple of bucks, or aren't sure if your disc brake has a hole large enough to fit the 5/8" shackle then you can save $6 and get the OnGuard Boxer 5048 Motorscooter and Motorcycle Disc Brake Lock (1/2" shackle) which is just one step down in their security rating. Of course, any disc brake can't deter someone from simply picking up the bike onto dollies and rolling it into a truck - so the best bet is to chain the bike to something immovable. But if you can't do that, this lock is pretty much safe from hand bolt cutters and any direct attacks.
The lock mechanism on all the OnGuard locks are first rate (I've owned at least 4)...unlike $50 Kryptonite locks which (the older models) could be opened with bic pens.

(More customer reviews)This is a very smooth-riding bike with a look and feel of quality. Its frame is much lighter than a steel bike, making a noticeable improvement in performance. I often load my bike heavily using a rear rack and baskets, so I was specifically looking for a bike with front suspension only. Even with only the front suspension fork, it smooths out bumps nicely. Shifting is really smooth and reliable. It has quick-release front wheel and seat. My only criticism is the front wheel is positioned so that when turning sharply it hits one's feet! At first I repeatedly almost fell because of turning too sharply while pedaling and my feet hitting the tire. I am more used to it now and have learned to stop pedaling and watch my feet position while making sharp turns. But to me it is a silly design flaw. This is the only reason I gave this bike 4 stars instead of 5. Let me add, the process of ordering it through Amazon went perfectly. It came in a huge box. It needed minor assembly which was very easy.

Flexible Flyer Snow Screamer Review

(More customer reviews)After 3 hours of normal sledding with both adults and kids 11 and under, the Flexible Flyer Snow Screamers took a surprising amount of damage. The bottom plastic panel started to pull apart from the foam body around the edges and one of my two sleds even had a long gash through the bottom in to the foam. Also the decorated top plastic layer started to peel away around the edges. That said, I like how these sleds feel to ride and steer, but it seems they need to be better built for the price.

Sunlite Plastic Bicycle Storage Cover Review

(More customer reviews)I realize the price being so low that I would not receive a top of the line bike cover which is fine. I did expect to receive a cover which would fit my brand new average size mountain bike ~ it does not. since it does not fit over both tires, the plastic snaps that cinch it tight do not come together to make a complete unit. I have to use clothes pins in certain areas to seal the cover in enough area to make the cover at least somewhat useable. My tires and rims are left exposed to the elements and thus are getting mud and moisture on them when it rains. Even the picture to the right of this review shows the cover with ample room all over the bike ~ very misleading!
Very disappointed!

OnGuard Mastiff 5019LP Bicycle Chain Lock Review

(More customer reviews)I was bought a 5019LP recently, and was curious about how strong this chain really is - so I decided to test it for myself. I figured that it was worth losing a link of length to know if it's as strong as they claim. Yes, I'm an enginerd.
I took the 5019LP to a nearby hardware store and grabbed the largest bolt cutters I could find (a 36", $50 unit). I found a quiet aisle and put the final link (the regular link end, not the big link) in the jaws, braced one handle of the bolt cutters against the floor and then started whaling on the other handle. I threw all my weight against it, bounced up and down on the handle, tried some different positions on the chain and in the jaws, but the chain did not cut. There was only a minor indentation on the link (
