(More customer reviews)I agree with the previous opinion that instructions are poorly done and it took me probably 30 min. to put it together, but there is a 3.5 min video on amazon check it out and you'll see it is not that hard.
When we go out my kid almost always chooses this bike over stroller or car (Step 2 Whisper Ride Buggy Blue) and it is my favorite as well. It is very easy for a parent to steer, removable safety harness makes it very comfortable and safe ride for a kid. Removable canopy is very handy especially in SoCal.
We purchased this bike well in advance for my kids first birthday and bike spent a few months in the box before I even attempted to put it together. I was very disappointed when I found that part of the canopy was damaged during shipping. I contacted Dana at Smart trikes and was pleasantly surprised because the only thing that she asked me was to email her picture of the broken part and shipping address replacement part was UPSed with no other questions asked. Smart trike comes with a great customer service when you need it.

Radio Flyer Tailspin Trike, Red Review

(More customer reviews)First, this toy definitely requires the rider to be wearing a helmet and I would also strongly recommend knee and elbow pads. As the description states, the rider drives straight and then pulls on the bar which results in a wicked spin out. Beware however that the rider will spin quickly and if they are close to anything when they pull this bar (such as a parked car), they could spin right into it. My husband was able to assemble the trike without any difficulty. What I noticed right away was this toy was really light weight. Our 6 (almost 7) year old son thought it was incredibly cool to ride. Unfortunately however the handlebar assembly snapped literally in my son's hand while he was in spinout mode making the bike completely inoperable (lightweight materials do have their downside). This occurred after only about 3 uses. There is clearly a lot of force placed on the handlebar when the rider is spinning out. We contacted Radio Flyer directly and they were aware of this problem (they thought they had resolved it before marketing the product) and sent the appropriate replacement parts. It took a while to disassemble the bike to install the new handlebar however it was worth the effort because our son really loves this trike. All in all, a very enjoyable toy and major thumbs up to Radio Flyer for standing behind their product and quickly replacing the defective parts.
Update....After several more uses, all tires are wearing out very prematurely. This trike will be inoperable after a few more uses as the tires, which are nearly bald, will have absolutely no tread left. Considering how expensive this trike was, I'm actually disappointed in the overall durability of this toy. It's still a lot of fun, just don't expect to have more than two months of serious play time with it.
2nd update - handle bar broke AGAIN. Had to send it back to the company for their quality assurance unit to inspect. They sent a replacement scooter (free) that our son loved.

Dora the Explorer Lights and Sounds Trike Review

(More customer reviews)Admittedly this trike is a lot of fun, however not in the way that I think it was intended. Instead of actually riding the trike all my daughter does is sit and push the buttons. She can sit for hours and just play with the buttons, however she doesn't go more than a few feet whenever she tries to ride the trike. At first I thought that it was because she was just too distracted by the buttons, but I later realized that it was because it was too difficult for her to push the pedals. I bought this for her when she was 2 and now she is almost 4 but she still just sits on the trike and pushes the buttons and she still can't push the pedals well enough for it to be fun for her. I think it has to do with the positioning of the pedals in relation to the seat, because she just can't seem to get her feet at the right angle to be able to cycle the pedals in a smooth consistent motion. At first I thought maybe she just wasn't coordinated enough to ride a trike, but she does just fine on the Radio Flyers and even her big girl bike with training wheels is easier for her than this product which said it was for younger kids. Though I have to hand it to Fisher Price, almost two years and this puppy is still going strong. And its not like we took great care of this trike. It has been primarily outside the whole time and seen record rains and snowfall and, albeit the stickers are a little faded, all the buttons still work just fine. If only the trike itself was fun and easier to ride, this would have been a great toy.

They weren't too bad to put together either. One thing that I like about these trikes is that they are VERY heavy, so the girls don't tip over on the when they turn sharply. These are the coolest trikes and I highly recommend them!

Bike USA Lil Red Trike Review

(More customer reviews)It looked sturdy in the picture but was really made out of material a little thicker than tin foil. Also, a piece was missing that holds a wheel on. It was easy to assemble as long as you don't accidentally bend the metal pieces out of shape. One of our older kids was carrying it and accidentally dropped it in the gravel and it fell apart. We don't have a lot of money either, but my recommendation is to save the money up to buy a better bike.

(More customer reviews)My daughter has spina bifida. After looking at adaptive bikes/trikes that cost multiple times what the Mobito costs, I stumbled across this product. Now my little girl can ride around on her own and have a sense of independence! She feels secure because the trike is low to the ground. She also thinks the trike looks cool, which helps a lot.
I made two changes:
1) I installed pedals with foot cups from an adaptive trike. This allows her feet to be securely strapped in so that she can pedal for all she is worth - and she does!
2) I used a "hook and loop" (Velcro) strap to create a parking brake so that she can get on and off without the trike rolling around.
She has someone help her get her feet strapped in and then she is ready to go!

I dont even know why they are selling them. You can clearly see its an error. And unless you know how to burn 2 perfect holes thru plastic the back of the child's seat, you don't have any way of repairing it because its inside the already built trike. DO NOT BUY UNTIL THEY RECALL THIS ITEM AND START OVER!

(More customer reviews)I am surprised that Schwinn trikes are not available at conventional stores. This is an excellent product that should definitely be on top of every parent's list. We decided on the Schwinn roadster after exhaustive research considering among other trikes, Kettlers, Italtrikes, Radio Flyer, etc.. but found this to be the best not just in build quality but also great value for the money you pay (Kettler is just too expensive). Our son just turned 2 and we first thought that he might be too small for this trike after reading other reviews. For now he does reach the pedals (he is 27" tall) but has yet to learn how to pedal. He scoots around easily, as the seat is low enough. Assembly was extremely easy - 4 steps, took me all of 10 minutes. It rides so smoothly. We are as excited as our son is with this trike and cannot wait for him to learn to pedal around with it. Excellent trike and HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

(More customer reviews)My 2 year old is still too short to reach the pedals, even with the three adjustable seat positions, but he can scoot himself along. He loves this bike and everytime we go outside he wants to ride it. It has many different types of sounds with simple button pushes....(i.e. turning left, right, batman theme song, engine rev and much more). The stickers really add to how nice it looks but will start to come off if they get wet. He has had it for a couple of months now and it seems to be pretty durable. Of course the wheels start to wear but it's like any other wheel (bike, car, etc) that moves along the ground. The other kids in the neighborhood love it too. I would highly recommend this bike.

(More customer reviews)My 9-year-old son bought the scooter with his birthday money. He already had a Razor scooter, but was excited about the "Graffiti" feature. When he first used it, he loved it. Like all Razor scooters, he was able to assemble it quickly out of the box. It came with 6 pieces of chalk, with a spiral cut in the cone shaped tips to fit into the scooter springs. After two short trips around the block, the first three were completely used up. Refills are available for $5 for a package of 6. That's $2.50 per use - this product will become very expensive with time. We tried fitting the scooter with Crayola chalk of the same shape, but without the spiral cut to twist them in - they didn't work. He is very sad, and is sorry he wasted his $50 of birthday money.
