(More customer reviews)My son received this from Grandma - he loves it. It has a number of sound bytes that are accompanied by lights and vibrations. It's an interesting piece of eye candy - very nostalgic. The only problem with it is that it's not a very good ride on, a good sit on toy yes, but not very easy to ride. Unless your child has an above average inseam, he won't be able to foot power the item, plus it doesn't steer?

It was a family gift, and it was one of our favorite gifts that we got (getting a Nintendo they year they came out excluded). I remember it being a pricey gift at the time, that's why we had to wait till Christmas. It was AWESOME! I am 32 now and I still get happy when I see pictures of this great toy floating around on the internet.

(More customer reviews)My 9-year-old son bought the scooter with his birthday money. He already had a Razor scooter, but was excited about the "Graffiti" feature. When he first used it, he loved it. Like all Razor scooters, he was able to assemble it quickly out of the box. It came with 6 pieces of chalk, with a spiral cut in the cone shaped tips to fit into the scooter springs. After two short trips around the block, the first three were completely used up. Refills are available for $5 for a package of 6. That's $2.50 per use - this product will become very expensive with time. We tried fitting the scooter with Crayola chalk of the same shape, but without the spiral cut to twist them in - they didn't work. He is very sad, and is sorry he wasted his $50 of birthday money.

Big Wheels - 16 inch The Original Review

(More customer reviews)I purchased this item for my 2 year old's birthday. Unfortunately he is not quite big enough to reach the pedals, but his older brother (almost 4) loves it. He is zipping around the driveway and we even put out pieces of plywood for 'jumps'. He has used it all summer with zero problems.
I read the complaints about the durability and was concerned about purchasing the big wheel, but there is not alternative product out there in the same price range. I decided to go for it and I'm glad I did. Make no mistake - assembly is a pain. Everything went smooth except getting the pedals on. I ended up taking it into my shop and bracing it on my work bench while I tapped the pedal into position with a hammer. I was worried about breaking the plastic with the hammer, but using extra caution I was able to get the pedal COMPLETELY into place. I suspect that anyone who had problems with the pedals falling off only got the pedal on partway. It took 10-15 minutes to get these pedals on and I couldn't pull them off if I tried.
If you're looking at the big wheel for your little one, I say go for it. Instructions should say 'patience required', but take a deep breath, do it right the first time, and then sit back and enjoy watching your kids have a blast zipping up and down the driveway.

Okiedog Fropper Review

(More customer reviews)This product is seriously defective. Earlier this morning my son was riding his fropper in front of me and my husband. When he leaned back to turn, both of the steering handles snapped off simultaneously. He flew backwards and landed on his head with both handles still in his hands. On top of it all, the plastic edges on the broken handles are very, very sharp.
My son is 21 months and about 28 lbs -- well in the weight range for this toy, which he loved. Thankfully he wasn't riding it on a harder surface -- he could have been seriously hurt.

Ezy Roller Ultimate Riding Machine -RED Review

(More customer reviews)This new roller bike is absolutely fantastic - my kids were given one for Christmas last year and they REALLY LOVE IT!!! I have 2 kids - one 5 1/2 boy and a 3 year old girl and they want to take it everywhere we go. My little girl coco hasn't yet learnt to ride a bike so she is especially excited to be able to move fast around the place...We use it at the park (their cousins have one and so they love to race/ play together), outside in our back yard ... and my little girl even insists on using it indoors (on carpet and wooden floors - i'm not not kidding!:))... It's perfectly safe - low to the ground with brakes so they only ever have fun on it (no tears!!)... I highly recommend this as a fantastic ride along that will last for years(it extends as kids grow and even adults can ride it - many people often ask us for a go when we are at the park/ beside the beach) - Highly recommended - loads of fun!!!

Mickey Plane Ride-On Toy Review

(More customer reviews)My 11 month old son received this airplane from his grandpa for Christmas. He has not gone a day without playing with it. The music and movement of the propeller get him so excited. He isn't walking yet, but he sits on his knees next to the airplane and presses the buttons over and over just to see the lighted propeller turn. He loves to put out his hand to stop the propeller. As others have mentioned, the propeller is made of soft foam, so I think he likes to feel the soft "thud" as the foam makes contact with his hand and see the propeller's motion stop. He's learning cause and effect!
The shape sorter is an added bonus. We have not had the problem of the recorded voice saying the wrong shape name. He likes to push the shapes into their respective holes once I set them up for him (I push them slightly into the holes first and he does the rest), and it won't be long until he's doing it by himself.
This is the perfect toy to bring to the grandparents' houses when we visit. It's small enough to stash in the trunk and keeps him entertained while we're talking.
