Schwinn Hinge Folding Bike Review

Although not as light or well built as a Dahon (Broadwalk model), I find this bike to be a decent alternative. Fenders are made of plastic, luggage rack is convienent, nicely supplied nylon protective bag for the bike in the folded position. Front and rear hand brakes, (no coaster brakes). What I didn't like about the bike is that the crank arm is made of plastic. Although thick, it's just chromed plastic. About $40-60 less than the Dahon Broadwalk.

Go-Ped GTR46i Trail Ripper Interceptor Gas Powered Full Suspension Off Road Scooter Review

Go-Ped GTR46i Trail Ripper Interceptor Gas Powered Full Suspension Off Road Scooter

Where do I begin? This Go-Ped scooter is certainly the worst product I have ever purchased in the over $500 price bracket in my life. I am a 47 year old father, bought it for my 14 year old son's birthday, it lasted 10-12 minutes, broke in the worst way and has been in the shop for over a month now waiting on parts which I will have to pay for plus the labor. The clutch broke first but when our local motorcycle shop was going through it they noticed the spark plug ceramic was cracked also. Basically, my shops manager said ALL scooters are junk and Go-Ped is worse than most and I would have been better off buying any number of scooters at half the price of these Chinese made pieces of garbage (oh yes, they are made in China even though they claim they are made in America). Bottom line, I thought I did my research, I thought this must be the best one on the market, but trust me, it is wasted money and has hurt my reputation with my son (at least temporarily). That said, I am buying him a dirt bike for Christmas. Do not buy this or any Go-Ped product, you will be disappointed I promise you! Oh yes, the packaging was terrible, just thrown in the box, the scooter had several blemishes on it in many places. Just the worst quality on every level! And by the way, don't expect Go-Ped to stand by you, they won't, in fact, they won't even return my calls and Amazon, well, they should be ashamed selling such crap - they won't stand behind me either.

Following the successful introduction and growth of the CIDLI suspension-equipped Go-Peds--including the Trail Ripper, Riot, and Trail Ripper Quad--Patmont Motor Werks (PMW) reintroduces the legendary Go-Ped Interceptor. The off-road scooter, redubbed the GTR46i, is equipped with the same impressive chassis and high-performance components as its older brothers, but with a few variations, including a quieter exhaust system, smooth-riding AT Primo Duro Trap tires, higher maximum speeds, better fuel economy, and a new kickstand. The modifications make the GTR46i ideal for people who want to experience the type of plush ride on trails and unpaved surfaces that comes only from the race-proven CIDLI suspension system.
